I’m passionate about playing baseball and am following a development path with the aim of eventually playing the game at the highest level.

Currently I have a baseball scholarship provided by the Australian Capital Territory Academy Of Sport (ACTAS.) This sees me traveling around 400km to training sessions  each week, I also travel a return trip 500 km each Saturday to play baseball in Illawarra.

I am also a representative of the ACT in national baseball tournaments which are very expensive to compete in as it calls for travel all around Australia.

In between my baseball commitments I attend Erindale College and am lucky enough to have been invited into their talented sports programme.

Because of my heavy baseball and college schedule I have found it difficult to find casual work to assist my parents with the financial burden placed on them funding my ambitions.

Hence I have created this web site JamesBurdin.com which I will use primarily to seek sponsorship.

My approach although not unique is novel to the sports industry and I’m sure during these crazy economic times it will prove to be successful.

My sponsorship package consists of visitors to my web site purchasing pixels on my front page. Anyone who purchases pixels can upload an image and link that image to their web site.

I’ll be promoting my web site extensively and therefore pixel sponsors will gain tremendous exposure.

The cost of purchasing pixels can be as little as 50 cents payable via PayPal a merchant provider owned by Ebay.
